Spiral dehydrator

Spiral dehydrators are divided into single spiral dehydrators and double spiral dehydrators A spiral dehydrator is a device that uses continuous feeding and continuous slag discharge. Its main principle is to separate the solid and liquid in the mixture using a rotating spiral shaft. Its working principle can be divided into three main stages: feeding stage, dehydration stage, and slag discharge stage

Firstly, during the feeding stage, the mixture enters the spiral chamber of the screw dehydrator through the feeding port. There is a spiral blade inside the spiral shaft, which is used to gradually push the mixture from the inlet to the outlet direction. During this process, the rotation of the spiral blades will exert mechanical force on the mixture, separating solid particles from the liquid。

Next is the dehydration stage. As the spiral axis rotates, solid particles are pushed towards the outer side of the spiral axis under centrifugal force and gradually move along the direction of the spiral blades. During this process, the gap between solid particles becomes smaller and smaller, causing the liquid to gradually be eliminated and forming a relatively dry solid material.

Finally, there is the slag removal stage. When the solid material moves to the end of the spiral shaft, due to the shape of the spiral blades and the inclination angle of the spiral shaft, the solid particles will gradually approach the center of the spiral shaft, forming a slag discharge groove. Under the action of the slag discharge tank, solid materials are pushed out of the equipment, while clean liquid flows out from the discharge port.

Spiral dehydrators are widely used in the following industries:

1. Environmental protection: sewage treatment plants, sludge dewatering treatment.

2. Agriculture: Dehydration of agricultural products and feed.

3. Food processing: extraction of fruit and vegetable juice, and disposal of food waste.

4. Chemical process: Chemical wastewater treatment, solid waste treatment.

5. Pulping and papermaking: pulp dehydration, waste paper recycling.

6. Beverage and alcohol industry: lees processing, alcohol dehydration.

7. Biomass energy: biomass particle dehydration and biomass waste treatment.
