Upflow pressure screen is a new type of recycled paper pulp screening equipment developed by our factory based on the digestion and absorption of imported prototype technology. This equipment is designed as an upflow structure based on the characteristics of impurities in recycled pulp, and can be widely used for coarse and fine screening of various waste pulp, as well as screening of pulp before paper machines.

Working principle:

As is well known, impurities in recycled pulp are divided into two parts: light impurities and heavy impurities. The traditional pressure screen is fed from the top, discharged from the bottom, and all light and heavy impurities pass through the entire screening area. When processing chemical pulp, the proportion and mass of impurities in the pulp are generally greater than that of a single fiber. This structure is conducive to reducing the residence time of impurities in the equipment. However, when processing regenerated pulp, which contains a large amount of light impurities with a smaller proportion, it will greatly extend the residence time of light impurities in the equipment, This results in a decrease in screening efficiency and increased wear and even damage to the rotor and screening drum.

The ZLS series upflow pressure screen adopts an upflow structure design with bottom slurry feeding, bottom heavy slag discharge, top tail slag discharge, and light slag, effectively solving the above problems. Light impurities and air in the slurry naturally rise to the top slag discharge port for discharge, while heavy impurities can settle to the bottom and be discharged as soon as they enter the body. This effectively shortens the residence time of impurities in the screening area, reduces the possibility of impurity circulation, and improves screening efficiency; On the other hand, it prevents damage to the rotor and screen drum caused by heavy impurities and prolongs the service life of the equipment.

Structural performance:

1. Screen drum: Screen drums with a fine screen gap width H ≤ 0.15mm can be imported from abroad, and the surface adopts hard chrome plating process to improve wear resistance. The service life is more than ten times that of similar screen drums in China. Other types of screen drums use high-quality screen drums produced by domestic supporting manufacturers to ensure equipment performance.

2. Rotor rotor: The precision screening rotor is equipped with 3-6 rotors, which are installed on the main shaft. The special structure of the rotor can demonstrate the extremely high screening efficiency of the equipment

3. Mechanical seal: Special graphite material is used for sealing, which is divided into dynamic ring and static ring. The static ring is pressed onto the dynamic ring with a spring, and is equipped with sealed water flushing to prevent debris from entering. The structure is compact, safe and reliable, and the service life is long.

4. Shell: Composed of an upper cover and a cylinder, with a tangential slurry inlet pipe at the lower part of the cylinder, a slurry outlet pipe at the upper middle part of the cylinder, and a slag discharge port and flushing water outlet on the upper cover.

5. Transmission device: including motor, pulley, V-belt, belt tensioning device, spindle and bearings, etc.
